Independent Stave Company subjects the staves to 24 months of open-air seasoning, then heavily toasts and lightly chars them before cooperage. That process, combined with 4.5 years of initial aging and 5 additional years of patient maturation, transforms Woodinville's grain character into a bourbon of exceptional depth and balance.
