W.L. Weller comes from Buffalo Trace, one the worlds most highly acclaimed distilleries. For more than two centuries, they have done nothing else but produce fine bourbon whiskey.

Aged for much longer than most other wheated bourbons, W. L. Weller 12 Year becomes incredibly smooth and relaxed, very well-balanced and sure to delight. So much so, that it has, since 2001 year on year, consistently won Gold and Silver Medal awards from some the industries most prestigious competitions. In 2014 is took home from the International Wine and Spirits Competition Silver Outstanding Medal as well as the Double Gold Medal from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Poured into your glass, W.L. Weller 12 Year is a gorgeous deep burnished bronze color, with indulgent aromas of nutty almond, spicy nutmeg, creamed corn, toasted vanilla and lanolin. They invite you to take your first, extraordinary sip. It is silky and smooth the flavor is incredibly wheaty, layered with almond, nutmeg and vanilla, and tones of zesty citrus. It is sweet and smooth all the way to the lengthy finish, dry and oaky.

TASTING NOTES

Aromas of lanolin, almond, creamed corn and toasty vanilla. The mid-palate flavor is heavily wheated, layered and moderately sweet. Long, oaky, and intensely smooth finish.
