This bundle puts two of Buffalo Trace’s best-known wheated bourbons side by side: W.L. Weller Antique 107 and W.L. Weller Special Reserve. Both use wheat instead of rye as the secondary grain, which gives Weller its softer, smoother style, and both come from the same Buffalo Trace mash bill in Frankfort, Kentucky. The difference is mostly proof: Antique 107 is bottled at 107 proof (53.5% ABV), and Special Reserve at 90 proof (45% ABV). It’s an easy way to taste the lineup, compare two proofs, or give a pair.
