Woven Honor is an 18-year-old single malt Scotch from the Orphan Barrel Whiskey Co., Diageo’s collection of rare and nearly forgotten whiskies. It comes from Linkwood Distillery in Elgin, Scotland (Speyside), founded in 1821, and it was aged for 18 years in American oak, then bottled at 46.3% ABV (92.6 proof). It’s a limited, US-exclusive release, introduced in October 2024.

The label shows a spider carefully building its web, a symbol of patience and of the distillery’s philosophy of non-interference: each step of making the whisky is allowed to unfold naturally, from fermentation through distillation and aging. The result is a smooth, medium-bodied single malt, light as silk, that invokes the freshness of spring.
