Truthteller 1839 Bourbon Whiskey

Product Description

Truthteller 1839 Bourbon Whiskey: Double-Barreled Bourbon with Caramel Apple and Rye Spice

Truthteller 1839 Bourbon Whiskey is a 94-proof straight bourbon created by Next Century Spirits in partnership with FOX Entertainment for the country-music drama Monarch. The bottle was inspired by Albie Roman, the fictional “Texas Truthteller” portrayed by Trace Adkins, and became part of the series’ story as well as a real-world whiskey release.

Next Century Spirits identifies Truthteller 1839 as a double-barreled straight bourbon bottled at 47% ABV. Its official flavor description highlights caramel apple, waffle cone, cinnamon sugar, rye spice, and pink peppercorn. Published launch notes add gingerbread, orchard fruit, honey, lightly toasted oak, leather, cigar, and campfire smoke, creating a profile that moves from confectionary sweetness into spice and smoky wood.

This bottle suits collectors of television and music-related spirits, but the flavor profile also makes it useful as a full-strength sipping bourbon or a bold base for classic whiskey cocktails.

Tasting Notes

• Nose: Gingerbread, pear, green apple, honeydew melon, honey, and warm baking spice.
• Palate: Caramel apple, waffle cone, cinnamon sugar, rye spice, and a peppery accent.
• Finish: Lightly toasted American oak, leather, cigar-box character, campfire smoke, and lingering spice.

Food Pairings

Pair with smoked brisket, barbecue ribs, maple-glazed pork, sharp cheddar, roasted pecans, apple pie, cinnamon desserts, or dark chocolate. Its sweet-and-smoky profile works particularly well with charred foods and warm baking spices.

Serving Suggestions

Start with a neat pour to assess the 94-proof structure, then add a few drops of water or one large cube if preferred. It also works in an Old Fashioned, Boulevardier, Whiskey Sour, or highball where the caramel, spice, and smoky oak can remain noticeable.
