Established in 1889, Moore’s distillery would become part of the renowned Barton 1792 Distillery, cementing Bardstown’s reputation as the Bourbon Capital of the World.

Moore’s bourbon was celebrated for its quality, and today, his legacy continues through his namesake brands. This particular bourbon starts as a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey but gains its unique character through an extended finish in Cognac casks.
