Inspired by Fresh Coconut arrives as the concluding chapter, returning the series to its roots at The Macallan Estate and guiding a coconut character rarely found in The Macallan to the very forefront of the whisky.

Crafted by The Macallan's Whisky Mastery team through precise cask selection and maturation, Inspired by Fresh Coconut is matured in a combination of Sherry-seasoned American oak casks and casks that previously held Bourbon, a departure for a distillery that matures the majority of its stocks in bespoke sherry-seasoned oak. According to Kirsteen Campbell, Master Whisky Maker at The Macallan, "we have carefully guided coconut notes to the forefront of the whisky through precise cask selection and maturation. The result is a beautifully balanced expression that showcases both the natural influence of oak and the skill of our Whisky Mastery team."

This release is paired with the TimeSpirit Dining Experience, a permanent collaboration between The Macallan and world-renowned restaurant El Celler de Can Roca, featuring custom serves and sweet creations from pastry chef Jordi Roca, with a series of bespoke cocktail serves crafted to highlight the whisky's coconut character in different ways. Continuing the series' focus on material innovation, the whisky is presented in packaging crafted from discarded coconut fibers, transformed through an emission-free process into a richly textured material with a natural black hue.
