While it's molasses is grown in Jamaica and Barbados, the mixing is done in second-use oak before it lays down for a couple of years in order to mature for the rum drinker. It's burnt orange in appearance but also brings notes of peppercorn, clove, and finishes refreshingly dry with other aromatics.
