It meant that all whiskeys must be aged for four years, bottled at 100 proof, and contain liquid from a single distillation season. This was meant to keep distillers honest and guarantee the highest integrity whiskey for those enjoying it. In the spirit of this history, we’ve decided to give it another go and do things the oldfashioned way by bringing you Old Overholt® Bonded Straight Rye Whiskey – the first bonded release from Old Overholt in more than 50 years.”
