How Grand Mayan Extra Aged Añejo Is Made

From there, it rests in a careful blend of American oak casks and French ex-cognac barrels, with the oldest tequilas in the blend aged up to five years, technically qualifying it for the "Ultra Aged" classification, a designation reserved for tequilas aged beyond three years.
