How El Bagazo Reposado Is Made

Every batch starts with agave slow-cooked in a brick oven heated by steam from an upcycled boiler, burning bagazo briquettes made from the distillery's own leftover agave fiber, a closed-loop system that cuts waste and replaces external industrial fuel entirely. That same commitment to sustainability runs through the packaging: labels made from recycled paper and bagazo, stoppers blending bagazo with FDA-approved plastic instead of imported cork, and bottles made from 100% recycled glass. The finished spirit rests in French oak, developing warm, sweet-savory character alongside its natural agave profile. Both Blanco and Reposado are built to a consistent 42% ABV.
