Del Bac Old Pueblo Whiskey is an American single malt made in Tucson, Arizona, from two-row barley smoked over a velvet mesquite fire. Whiskey Del Bac handles the process on site, from malting and smoking through mashing, fermentation, copper-pot distillation, maturation, and bottling.

The mesquite smoke gives Old Pueblo a distinctly Southwestern identity. It is earthy and savory rather than a copy of peat-smoked Scotch, with dried chile, desert campfire, white chocolate, grain, and mineral notes. The producer bottles it at 45% ABV, or 90 proof, and does not chill-filter the whiskey.
