Cotswolds Peated Cask Single Malt Whisky is made from 100% locally grown, traditionally floor-malted Cotswolds barley and matured for its full aging period in ex-peated quarter casks. The smaller casks increase wood contact while carrying residual smoke from the whisky previously held inside them.

This is not heavily peated new-make spirit. Instead, subtle smoke enters through the cask, surrounding the distillery’s naturally fruity malt with vanilla, toasted oak, pepper, and what Cotswolds describes as a smoky-vanilla-ice-cream character.
