Cooperstown Mini Triple Play 50ml 3-Pack

Product Description

Cooperstown Mini Triple Play 50ml 3-Pack: Three Baseball Bottles from the Home of the Hall of Fame

The Mini Triple Play is the pocket version of Cooperstown Distillery’s famous baseball-bottle set. It’s a small box of three hand-blown 50ml glass baseballs, each filled with a different Abner Doubleday spirit from the craft distillery in Cooperstown, New York: bourbon, Double Play Vodka, and American Whiskey. It’s a three-spirit lineup, which fits the “Triple Play” name, in a collectible baseball-shaped decanter that people keep after the spirits are gone.

It’s a gift and collector’s piece first. The bottles are the draw, and the spirits inside are drinkable and worth a taste. It’s a good choice for baseball fans, Father’s Day, birthdays, retirement, a coach gift, or a holiday stocking.

• American Whiskey: A remarkably smooth-drinking whiskey. 45% ABV.

About Cooperstown Distillery

Cooperstown Distillery is a craft distillery in Cooperstown, New York, the village known for the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Its Doubleday line is named for Abner Doubleday, the Civil War general long credited in legend with inventing baseball. The distillery’s signature move is the hand-blown, patented baseball-shaped decanter, which it also makes in these 50ml sizes.

Tasting the Set

The brand’s own descriptions are short, so here’s what to expect from each bottle:

Bourbon (45%): A smooth, sippable bourbon blend that’s meant to drink like an older bottle.

Double Play Vodka (40%): A clean, smooth wheat vodka that’s easy to sip chilled or mix.

American Whiskey (45%): A smooth-drinking whiskey, easy to enjoy neat or on the rocks.

Food Pairings

It’s a ballpark set, so ballpark food fits: hot dogs, brats, burgers, wings, nachos, and barbecue. The bourbon and whiskey also pair with smoked meats and caramel desserts, and the vodka suits salty snacks and seafood.

Serving Suggestions

Open one at a time and sip neat or over a single ice cube. The vodka is good chilled, and the bourbon and whiskey work in a mini Old Fashioned or a whiskey and ginger ale. Many buyers keep the sealed bottles on display as a shelf collectible, or hang them as decor.
