Codigo 1530 Ancestral Mezcal is produced from a blend of wild agave Espadin and Tobala, and handcrafted according to the highest standards of artisanal mezcal making. This limited edition bottling showcases the smoky, complex flavors of this exceptional expression of 100% wild agave, with hues of light wood smoke, savory herbs, and fruit notes on the nose. The 2015 vintage is distilled from a blend of agaves that were harvested at peak maturity between January and March 2014 in San Baltazar Loxicha. The spirit spends 4 months aging in white oak barrels before being bottled in March 2016.
