Claridad Mezcal Espadín is more than a spirit it’s a story poured from five generations of tradition. Crafted in Bramaderos, Miahuatlán, Oaxaca, by Maestro Mezcalero Onofre Ortíz Ortíz, this artisanal mezcal captures the soul of ancestral production and the purity of agave-driven expression.

Made from 100% Espadín agave (A. angustifolia), the piñas are roasted for three days in an oak-fired conical stone oven, milled by axe, machete, and grinder, then fermented in open-air cypress wood tanks using ambient wild yeast and local well water. Twice distilled in alembic copper pot stills, the final result is a mezcal of striking clarity and nuance.

Aromas of soft clay, burnt cinnamon, and tropical fruit lead into a palate that surprises—jasmine, yam, coriander, parsnip, and charred herbs all dance on the tongue. Bottled at 45.5% ABV, this Espadín is dry, floral, herbaceous, and unapologetically bold.
