Tequila Ocho Añejo Barrel Select Las Raíces is made exclusively from overripe highland agaves grown on a single field, Rancho Las Raíces, in the Highlands of Jalisco, and rested for a full 12 months in French oak barrels that previously held Ferrand Cognac. It’s the third collaboration between Tequila Ocho and Ferrand Cognac, two family producers from two great regions, and the barrels made a journey of more than 8,800 km to reach Arandas.

Tequila Ocho is known for its single-estate, vintage approach: every bottling comes from one field and one harvest, so you can taste how soil, climate, and the year shape the agave. Here the Cognac casks add salted caramel and roasted coffee notes and an elegant finish of fresh wood, without hiding the agave. It’s an additive-free, 100% blue Weber agave añejo bottled at 44.4% ABV (88.8 proof), and it’s limited.
