Only 100 liters exist, making this one of the rarest mezcals you’ll ever find. Jabalí agave is notoriously difficult to work with, foaming at every stage of production due to its natural saponins. It’s unpredictable, labor-intensive, and yields far less than other agave varietals, but the result is something truly extraordinary.

It took 55 pounds of wild Jabalí agave to produce just one liter of this ancestral mezcal, a testament to the craftsmanship of Silverio García Luis and Epifania Gómez Mejía. This batch revives a García family tradition nearly lost to history, dating back to a time when mezcal production in Oaxaca was outlawed. Silverio’s father, Don Lencho, had to distill in secret, using a hollowed-out quiote instead of copper to escape government raids.

Every sip delivers bold, untamed flavors that can only come from Jabalí—earthy, herbal, and complex, with an unforgettable wild character.
