How Ardbeg Trudernish Is Made

This 15 year old expression is triple-cask matured in a bold, balanced marriage of ex-bourbon, virgin oak, and Oloroso sherry casks, a maturation approach that sets it apart from Ardbeg's more familiar releases. It's also bottled at a custom 48.8% ABV, notably higher than the 46% ABV typical of similar Ardbeg expressions, giving the whisky extra weight and intensity in every pour.
