In honor of Silver Oak’s 50-year milestone, we created a one of a kind tequila in collaboration with the world’s leading winery – Maestro Dobel 50 Silver Oak edition. The result is unexpected and genuine, as only two liquids of such quality can influence each other to create an exceptional new flavor profile. Following years in American oak casks, our most exquisite extra aged tequila is then finished in Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon casks creating an incredibly limited release that was perfected over decades.

Silver Oak winery is located in the Napa Valley and has retained its reputation as one of the best in California since 1974. We are proud to partner with this illustrious vintner to create the ultimate blend worthy of celebrating our 50th anniversary!

TASTING NOTES

APPEARANCE:
The appearance is clean and translucent, with an intensely bright amber color accented by gold and bright orange sparkles, as well as the slightest hint of green along the glass that evidences the tequila’s long evolution in wood.

AROMA:
The intensity and complexity of the aromas reflect notes of cooked agave and ripe fruits. The caramel and vanilla notes that result from the carefully selected aging barrels are complemented by the subtle notes of red fruits characteristic of Silver Oak wine, all leading into an elegant buttery finish.

FLAVOR:
In the mouth, an abundance of flavor overwhelms the palate. The influence of the wood upon the tequila is palpable, which enhances the elegance and smoothness of the flavor profile. Notes of citrus fruits such as mandarin brighten and freshen the liquid, and notes of dried fruit such as figs and dates give roundness to the tequila, which never loses the essence of its agave origins throughout its time in the barrel.
