That's why we patiently matured our robust and oily new make spirit for an extended period in a high proportion of refill casks, along with first-fill sherry seasoned European and American oak casks.
The result is an astonishingly complex harmony of flavors. While you'll find the characteristic fudgy sweetness of more mature Highland Park expressions, it's complemented by layers of aromatic spice, dark chocolate orange, and floral peat notes. This exceptional whisky is the product of 30 years of maturation on Orkney's stormy.
