Since 2021, Clase Azul México has released an annual series of five limited-edition creations, Nuestros Recuerdos, inviting collectors to explore a different facet of Día de Muertos each year. The journey began with Sabores ("Flavors") in 2021, followed by Colores ("Colors") in 2022, Aromas ("Aromas") in 2023, and Música ("Music") in 2024. Recuerdos ("Memories") is the fifth and final chapter, bringing the series full circle to pay tribute to the very soul of the tradition: the enduring memories that keep our departed loved ones ever present, and the ofrendas through which we celebrate their lives.

Crafted under the direction of Master Distiller Viridiana Tinoco, this añejo tequila harmonizes tequilas aged between 12 and 38 months in first-use American whiskey casks. A portion of the agave is slow-cooked in a traditional pit oven, imparting deep, smoky notes that recall the essence of a Mexican hearth. For Tinoco herself, the tequila recalls the scent of her grandmother's kitchen and tortillas cooked over a wood flame, a genuinely personal tribute woven into every bottle. The ivory-colored decanter carries that same intimacy: an illustration by artist Erika Rivera depicts a traditional ofrenda lovingly arranged by a family, with the spirits of those remembered emerging in gentle tones around it. At the base, a 24-karat gold-plated brass locket opens to reveal an obsidian cameo bearing intricate milagritos in low relief, framed by traditional Día de Muertos motifs, a genuine symbol of eternal remembrance.

Limited to 10,000 individually numbered one-liter decanters and handmade in Tesistán, Jalisco by the artisan workshop Milagros de Latón, Recuerdos closes out the Nuestros Recuerdos series as its most emotionally resonant chapter, a fitting finale for a collection built entirely around memory and meaning.
