Cazcanes No. 7 Extra Añejo is the brand’s first extra añejo and its longest-aged tequila. It’s a small-batch blend of barrels averaging 37 months in reworked, re-charred used American oak barrels from Jack Daniel’s, Jim Beam, Clermont, and Four Roses, with a small portion finished with French oak staves for added depth. The legal minimum for extra añejo is 36 months, and Cazcanes says it goes beyond simply meeting that standard. It’s bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof).

The brand’s philosophy is “aged to taste, not time”: barrels are selected for flavor, not by the calendar, to keep bold agave character without being over-oaked. It’s made from 100% organic Blue Weber agave, and the tequila is certified organic and kosher, and verified additive-free.
