Hard to find gem!
This "small" store provides some of the best quality hard to find spirits across all areas -from tequilas to bourbons. Blantons is my go to high end drink for a simple straight pour or on the rocks. The flavor is smooth and even with a little sweetness on the backside. It is hard to find in many stores as it is a small batch, rare single barrel bourbon with a background from Buffalo Trace distilleries.This is a superior drink to most other boubons on the market and I was happy to find it available from my good friends at Quality Liquors.

A bourbon treat.
Putting the collectable horse figure stopper aside, Blanton's is a wonderful expression. Notes of vanilla greet the nose along with a hint of stone fruit marmalade. On the palate, Blanton's rewards you with a dry spiciness with flavors of molasses and caramel. It's a fine bourbon.

FedEx brought it to our house on Thursday before we left. However, dude stuck a "Sorry we missed you" note on the door instead of knocking to get our signature. We were both home working! So Chip found it pretty quickly, and I called to tell them that we are leaving and how dare their driver not do his job!!! I ended up speaking to three different people-- the last being a local supervisor who said that he would hold the package until we return home and schedule deliver for June 6th or 7th. So we should have it in a few days. Bummer
