Star Trek Romulan Ale 100 Proof Blue Rye Whiskey

Product Description

Star Trek Romulan Ale 100 Proof Blue Rye Whiskey: A Blue-Hued Rye in a Collectible Bottle

Romulan Ale first appeared in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan as a potent, crystal-blue drink that became legendary across the galaxy, and in the Star Trek universe it was declared illegal by the Federation in 2280. Star Trek Spirits brings it to life as a rye whiskey with the drink’s characteristic blue color, bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV) and sold in a collectible Romulan Ale bottle.

The brand describes a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley, aged in newly charred white oak barrels and made with a 150-year-old yeast strain. The label calls it “rye whiskey with natural flavor and certified color.” The rye graininess shows on the nose, followed by creamy vanilla sweetness, and the peppery finish carries dried fig, raisin, and cherry.
