When an event moves, mini liquor bottles may need to stay in storage for weeks or months. Unopened spirits are generally stable, but poor handling can damage labels, loosen packaging and make small leaks harder to spot. The goal is to preserve the original seal and presentation.
Inspect before storing
Count every case and separate bottles with cracked glass, loose caps, leakage, cloudiness or unusual fill levels. Photograph the condition of the shipment and record product, quantity and case location.
Store bottles upright
Keep miniatures upright in their original dividers or fitted inserts. Do not allow glass bottles to touch. Avoid stacking beyond the carton’s strength, and keep cases off the floor in case of water damage.

- No repeated heat and cold cycles

Do not alter the bottle
Avoid adhesives on legal labels or closures. Do not open, refill or attempt to tighten a damaged seal. Personalization should remain on an outer tag, box or pouch.
Reinspect before the rescheduled event
At least several days before packing, recount the stock and check glass, caps, labels and fill levels. Clean intact bottles only with a dry microfiber cloth. Replace questionable units rather than disguising damage.
Update the logistics plan
Confirm the new venue rules, transport method, recipient age, destination eligibility and adult-signature requirements. A date change can make the original delivery or favor plan invalid.
