This unique recipe was passed down through generations, with Basil Hayden's son and grandson continuing the tradition of fine distillation. It was Colonel R.B. Hayden, the third-generation distiller, who honored his grandfather's legacy by christening their renowned whiskey "Old Grand-Dad."
