Yueeeeeewwwe! I found a jar of this on sale ($9.98) at the liquor store in surfside texas. Wow.. it was my first experience with moonshine...and only getting a warning for doing donuts on the beach...but since then have tried several other commercial moonshines but still like this best. Must be that georgia born thing.

Made for blues musicians Been dranking SOGM since 92. Had to replace my original stash from Conroe, TX. Smooth, invigorating, and cheap. Some of my best performances complemented SOGM.

I remember that I used to be able to get this stuff for about 6 bucks a 750ml maybe 8-9 years ago. And I remembered, back then, thinking that it tasted strong and smelled even stronger. But I also remembered that the buzz was unbelievably good! Now I am not endorsing drinking in excess, here. Or am I suggesting the abuse of alcohol. My tastes and my habits have changed since then....but I never forgat how this Georgia Moon Corn Whiskey was a pleasant surprise. So years later the Moonshiners show comes on and I immediately recall this drink. So I look for it, and of course the price is much higher than it was. But it was well worth it! I actually went to the expense to buy a small Turkish copper pot and a out of production bag of Brach's Ice Blue mint cooler candy to make a drink that I thought up that I will call "BLUE MOON". I used a little bit of water that I collected from a spring near The World Famous Horseshoe Curve and brought it to a boil in the Turkish copper pot. I then added 4 round Ice Blue mints to represent the 4 phases of the moons each month. I then poured some,(maybe 4-5 shots worth) of the Moonshine in and let it come to a boil and then took everything off and allowed it to cool. Once the mints were dissolved and the drink cooled I poured everything back into the bottle, which now had a nice blue hue.....this is what I called "BLUE MOON"! Now, of course, this stuff you have to acquire a taste for. But it wont let you down. Just drink responsible and always follow up any drinking occasion( which should be rare occasions) with sufficient water, B vitamins, Folic Acid and plenty of exercise....especially cardio. I would probably suggest maybe 4 shots and a beer to chase it. And even so I suggest drinking every once in a BLUE MOON!!
