Modern Times Monsters' Park

Monsters Park; an American Double Imperial Stout from San Diego’s Modern Times, who’s ethos is to bring to the market beers which are aromatic, complex, and full of impactful flavor.

Pouring a deep brown-black, there's a thin layer of tan colored froth. Right up front come powerful fragrances, redolent of charred oak and tobacco smoke. It is dark and roasty, with coffee and dark chocolate. This is all delivered in the flavor which is forceful, yet the mouth-feel for a stout, feels quite light. It is smooth and mellow, with a clean and well balanced finish.
