Color: Ámbar-oro vibrante.
Nariz : Fruta fresca y hermosamente ligera, combinada con una tentadora dulzura especiada y un toque de roble jugoso.
Sabor : Con cuerpo, deliciosa fruta de Jerez, con roble, un toque de turba y deliciosas sensaciones dulces.
Final : Largo y sabroso, con un picante persistente.
Comentario : Una excelente introducción al estilo de destilería. Glenfarclas significa Glen of the Green Grassland, y la frescura en nariz me recuerda a los pastizales en primavera. Entonces, para mí, este es el aroma de las 'farclas'. En 2006 fue nombrado el 'Mejor Whisky de Jerez' en la Copa del Mundo de Malta Simple. Más recientemente, Glenfarclas 12 años ganó el oro en el Festival de la Cerveza y el Whisky de Estocolmo en 2007 y nuevamente en 2008.
