Stauning Bastard es un whisky de centeno danés elaborado con ingredientes de origen local en alambiques de cobre calentados con fuego. Madura durante al menos tres años en barricas nuevas de roble americano virgen tostado, seguido de seis meses en barricas de mezcal de Oro de Oaxaca.
Notas de Cata
El dulce humo de tabaco de pipa, las pasas y las galletas de avena se encuentran con el picante del centeno, el roble tostado y el carácter ahumado de las barricas de mezcal.
Maridajes
Maridar con carnes ahumadas, queso añejo, frutas secas, galletas de avena o chocolate negro.
Sugerencias para Servir
Servir solo, con agua o en un Manhattan ahumado.
