Barullo Spicy Sandía Watermelon Tequila Liqueur

Product Description

Barullo Spicy Sandía Watermelon Tequila Liqueur: Juicy Watermelon with a Chile Kick

Barullo Spicy Sandía is a tequila liqueur from Mexico (licor con tequila) that pairs sweet, juicy watermelon with a lively chile heat, inspired by the classic Mexican street-snack combination of watermelon and chile. Sandía means watermelon in Spanish. The brand says it’s built on real tequila, and it’s bottled at 30% ABV (60 proof), stronger than most flavored liqueurs, which helps it hold up over ice and in cocktails. The label shows watermelon, chile, and agave illustrations and the words Hecho en México.

It’s a sweet, fruit-forward liqueur with real heat on the back end: the watermelon lands first, and a gentle chile warmth follows, a kick and not a burn. According to retailers, it’s made from tequila and corn neutral spirits with watermelon flavoring.
