The Dalmore Cigar Malt Scotch Whisky has a balanced character, with soft vanilla and honey notes. A proportion of the whisky is matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon casks, yielding soft vanilla and honey notes. The balance of the liquid remains in ex-Bourbon casks, while the balance is apportioned between best Gonzalez Byass Sherry casks, previously holding 30 year old Matusalem Oloroso Sherry, and Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques.
For the love of all cigar smokers, the first Dalmore’s was the Crème’ Da la Crème’ of cigar malts on the market. Now, after the uproar and die down of it all, they have come to their senses and brought it back as a new and improved version. The Dalmore Cigar Malt still holds true to the cigar-loving fans and lovers of true cigar malt fans. With slightly old whiskeys making up the cigar malt, there is a more definitive flavor than there was with the 2009 version.
