Buffalo Trace Bourbon, White Dog & Benchmark Bourbon 3-Pack

Product Description

Buffalo Trace, White Dog & Benchmark 3-Pack: One Mash Bill, Three Ways to Taste It

What does bourbon taste like before the barrel? This Buffalo Trace 3-Pack lets you find out. It pairs the flagship Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon with Buffalo Trace White Dog Mash #1, the unaged spirit straight off the still, and Benchmark Bourbon, the distillery’s value bourbon, all built on the same Mash Bill #1, Buffalo Trace’s low-rye corn, rye, and malted barley recipe. It’s one recipe at three stages and prices, and the easiest way to taste what the barrel, proof, and time do.

What’s in the Box

• Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon, 750ml, 90 proof: the flagship, with classic notes of vanilla, caramel, soft spice, and oak.
• Buffalo Trace White Dog Mash #1, 375ml, 125 proof (62.5% ABV): clear, unaged whiskey, the raw foundation of every bourbon here. Per Caskers, expect corn, salted popcorn, and cereal, with sweetness, heat, and spice and a dry, warming finish. Add a few drops of water.
• Benchmark Bourbon (Old No. 8), 750ml, 80 proof: light, approachable, and made at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky.

That’s 1,875ml of whiskey, a gift for a bourbon fan, a tasting night, or anyone curious about what “white dog” means. Pour the White Dog first with a little water, then Benchmark, then Buffalo Trace, to taste the recipe pick up color, sweetness, and oak. Benchmark is the everyday pour and mixer, and Buffalo Trace is the sipper.
