Rest and Be Thankful Finglassie is a six-year-old peated single malt distilled at InchDairnie in the Scottish Lowlands. Finglassie is the distillery's peated make, created to explore a more smoky and robust side of Lowland whisky.
Small Batch #3 was distilled in 2017, matured in ex-Islay whisky casks and finished in Jamaican rum casks. The combination layers tropical fruit and sweetness over vegetal peat, citrus and cereal character.
Tasting Notes
Nose: vegetal peat, pineapple and warming spice. Palate: lemon, sherried orange and smoke. Finish: ripe banana, cereal and lingering peat.
