Compass Box The Peat Monster Cask Strength Origin Story is a limited blended malt Scotch created for The Peat Monster's 20th anniversary. It returns to the whisky's New York origin story while amplifying the smoky recipe at cask strength.

Compass Box bottled the release at 56.7% ABV, natural color and without chill filtration. Part of the whisky was finished in seasoned virgin American white oak, a deliberate reference to America's influence on Scotch whisky maturation and the brand's early collaboration with Park Avenue Liquor Shop.

This is a larger, more forceful presentation than the standard Peat Monster. The proof, peat and fresh oak reward slow sipping and controlled dilution rather than rapid drinking.
