Released in 2015 as the ninth edition of Heaven Hill’s Parker’s Heritage Collection, this limited Kentucky Straight Malt Whiskey honors the legacy of longtime Master Distiller Parker Beam. It was created from an experimental whiskey distilled in 2006 using a mashbill of 65% malted barley and 35% corn—an unusual grain recipe that places malted barley, rather than corn, at the center of the whiskey.

The whiskey matured for eight years on the fifth and seventh floors of Rickhouse Y in Bardstown, Kentucky. It was bottled non-chill filtered at 108 proof (54% ABV), preserving the weight and character developed during maturation. This is the 750 ml ninth-edition release, not the wheat whiskey issued as the eighth edition one year earlier.
