Kevin Hart’s tequila just went back to where tequila starts. Gran Coramino Blanco is the brand’s first unaged tequila, and it’s built on three ingredients: 100% Blue Weber agave, deep well water from Jalisco, and the brand’s proprietary yeast. Gran Coramino calls it “smooth as a shot without any bite,” and it’s made to work neat, chilled, or in a cocktail. It’s bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof).

Founded by Hart and 11th-generation tequila producer Juan Domingo Beckmann, Gran Coramino is known for aged and finished expressions, the Cristalino, Reposado, and Añejo. The Blanco is the opposite move: no barrels, so the agave speaks for itself. The brand describes an opening of cooked agave, light citrus, subtle black pepper, and hints of floral, with a touch of sweetness, minerality, and gentle peppery spice before a clean, vibrant finish. It’s a Margarita and Paloma tequila that also sips well, and the brand’s own serve is a sugar-rimmed lemon cocktail: 2 ounces Blanco, half an ounce each of fresh lemon juice and simple syrup, a quarter ounce of triple sec, and a lemon twist. It’s a new release and it’s moving fast.
