Description

Glenmorangie Dr Bill Lumsden x Azuma Makoto 23 Years Old is a whisky like no other—a fusion of two masters of their craft, one in whisky creation and the other in botanical artistry. This rare and elemental limited edition celebrates the harmony between the natural world and whisky, drawing inspiration from the deep connection between earth, flora, and the passage of time.

Crafted by Glenmorangie's Director of Whisky Creation, Dr Bill Lumsden, this 23-year-old expression begins with a classic Glenmorangie, aged to perfection in ex-bourbon casks, exuding bright aromas of lemon balsam and delicate orchids. To elevate this masterpiece, Dr Bill finished the whisky in Chardonnay casks from the Meursault appellation in Burgundy, lending it extraordinary complexity and notes reminiscent of rain-soaked moss, wildflowers, and earthy tones.

Azuma Makoto, a renowned Japanese botanical artist, was inspired by these natural elements, crafting a botanical masterpiece that now graces the whisky's design. Together, they’ve created an experience that transcends tradition, celebrating nature’s vibrant beauty in liquid form. Glenmorangie Dr Bill Lumsden x Azuma Makoto 23 Years Old is an exquisite tribute to the wonder of the living world, capturing its complexity in every sip and making it a true collector's item.
