Compass Spice Tree 750ml is Compass Box The Spice Tree, a blended malt Scotch whisky built around oak-derived baking spice. The whisky is bottled at 46% ABV, presented at natural color and not chill filtered.

Compass Box uses bespoke hybrid casks with American-oak bodies and heavily toasted new French-oak heads. The French oak is sourced from mature forests in the Vosges and contributes the clove, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla character that defines the whisky.

The original Spice Tree was discontinued after regulators challenged its internal-stave maturation method. Compass Box then developed the compliant hybrid-cask approach used for the revived expression, preserving the intended spice-led style without relying on unsupported additives or flavoring.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Clove, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg rise over vanilla, toasted oak and ripe orchard fruit.

Palate: Full, round and sweet, with fruity malt, vanilla, baking spice and deep toasted-French-oak intensity.

Finish: Long and warming, carrying ginger, clove, vanilla and dry toasted wood.
