How Cazadores Extra Añejo Is Made

Crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave sourced from the Highlands of Jalisco, this tequila undergoes stainless steel double fermentation before resting a minimum of three years in new American oak barrels not exceeding 600 liters. That extended aging period, the longest of any Cazadores release, develops a deep gold color and considerably more complexity than the brand's standard Añejo. It's bottled at 40% ABV and has earned real recognition, including a Platinum Medal at the 2019 SIP Awards, a Double Gold Medal at the 2014 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and a Silver Medal at the 2013 International Wine & Spirit Competition.
