This three-bottle set is a complete tour of Smoke Wagon’s high-rye bourbon lineup from Nevada H&C Distilling Co. in Las Vegas, founded in 2012 by Aaron Chepenik and Jonathan Hensleigh. Every bottle is non-chill filtered, made from a high-rye mash bill (60% corn, 36% rye, 4% malted barley) of bourbon distilled by MGP in Indiana, aged in Indiana and in the Nevada desert, then blended and bottled in Las Vegas. You get one bottle of each, stepping up in proof from the everyday Straight Bourbon to the Small Batch to the barrel-strength Uncut Unfiltered, a good way to try the range or give it as a gift.

What’s in the Pack

• 1 × Smoke Wagon Straight Bourbon: the everyday bourbon. Mainly 4 to 5 year old barrels hand-selected from the top two floors of the warehouse, reported at about 92.5 proof. Delicate sweet notes with a rye spice finish.
• 1 × Smoke Wagon Small Batch: the flagship, launched in 2016. A blend of older stock with younger barrels, at 100 proof, aged in a century-old brick warehouse with barrels hand-selected for a blend that is smooth yet bold.
• 1 × Smoke Wagon Uncut Unfiltered: the barrel-strength expression of the Small Batch blend, bottled with no water added at about 115 proof. Rich, sweet, and thick, with a heat and rye spice finish.

Small Batch: Caramel, oak, vanilla, and apple, with a bright burst of rye spice and pepper.
