The Blanton’s, Eagle Rare 10 Year & Benchmark Bourbon 3-Pack puts three Buffalo Trace Distillery bourbons side by side: Blanton’s Original Single Barrel, the world’s first single barrel bourbon, Eagle Rare 10 Year, one of Kentucky’s most sought-after bottles, and Benchmark Old No. 8, the distillery’s everyday pour. They’re made from two different recipes, Blanton’s from the higher-rye Mash Bill #2 and the other two from the low-rye Mash Bill #1, so the set shows how recipe, age, and proof change a bourbon.

It’s a strong bourbon gift set for a whiskey fan, a tasting night, or a collection, with two allocated bottles that are hard to find on their own. Each bottle is distilled and aged at Buffalo Trace in Frankfort, Kentucky.

• Blanton’s Original Single Barrel Bourbon, 93 proof (46.5% ABV): introduced in 1984 by Master Distiller Elmer T. Lee, aged in Warehouse H, hand-dumped and individually bottled, with the collectible horse-and-jockey stopper. The brand describes a deep nose of nutmeg and spices, powerful dry vanilla with honey, strong caramel, and corn, and a medium finish of corn and nutmeg.
• Eagle Rare 10 Year Kentucky Straight Bourbon, 90 proof (45% ABV): aged ten years, with a nose of toffee, orange peel, herbs, honey, leather, and oak, bold, dry flavors of candied almonds and rich cocoa, and a dry, lingering finish.
• Benchmark Bourbon (Old No. 8), 80 proof: light and approachable, with a story that begins in 1773, when three McAfee brothers left Virginia to explore Kentucky and the surveyor’s marks they left behind became known as benchmarks.
