Distilled, aged, and bottled entirely in Kentucky, this bourbon embodies the spirit of the Bluegrass State, utilizing 100% locally sourced corn and pure limestone well water. The traditional sour mash bill, comprising 70% corn, 21% rye, and 9% malted barley, creates a balanced yet robust flavor profile that has long been a regional favorite. Non-chill filtered and aged for over four years, it delivers a smooth, authentic bourbon experience, showcasing the best of Kentucky craftsmanship.

The packaging is a blend of history and innovation, reflecting RD1's deep respect for Lexington’s distilling legacy. The custom glass bottle is a nod to the first federally registered distillery in Lexington, RD #1, and its historic Ashland Distillery label. The tree motif on the neck label and the etched glass lettering pay tribute to the Old William Tarr bottle, while the sleek, concave shape of the bottle hints at the future of RD1 Spirits. Aged four years, this is made from Kentucky-grown corn, rye and barley blended with limestone well water. It’s subtle in caramel, vanilla, and baked pineapple, presenting as both expansive and powerful on the palate, with a lengthy finish of baking spice.
