In Tucson, the whiskey is finished on freshly harvested Whiskey Del Bac mesquited barrel staves, the same mesquite-smoked wood used for the distillery’s single malts, and then filtered across mesquite charcoal from Whiskey Del Bac’s mesquite malting process. The brand calls this the Pima County Process™. The result is a bourbon that stays bright and punchy while picking up a hint of desert smoke.
