Mico Tequila is redefining Mexican spirits with a modern classic, crafted at Tequila el Viejito. Known for a pure yet complex profile, it balances smoothness, flavor, sweetness, and spice. Hand-selected blue Weber agaves, patient cooking, and double distillation create a harmonious balance. The Blanco, Reposado, and Añejo expressions, uniquely rested in different barrels, offer complexity.
The distinctive curved bottle, featuring the Mico monkey, celebrates Mexican culture. No artificial colors or flavors are used. The Reposado, aged 10 months in American oak and 2 months in Napa Valley Cabernet wine barrels, delivers agave fruitiness, a Tennessee whiskey finish, and warm vanilla notes.
TASTING NOTES
It's a complex, layered, and aromatic nose with a balance of sweetness, baking spices, honey, orange zest, oak, and cooked agave. The sweet palate has clove, allspice, honey, and vanilla. The oaky finish is reminiscent of Tennessee whiskey.
