The matured essence of perfection is derived from the oak and elegant sherry oak casks. The real difference is noted in the bottling at the lower abv of 40%.

Overall, it is light on the nose and leaves hints of floral fragrances. Overall taste is by way of dried red fruits with slight fall baking spices. If one thought the 43% was too much or they prefer a neat scotch, the Aberlour 16yr Double Cask is a definite choice.
