Dark Arts Whiskey House

About Dark Arts Whiskey House

Shop Dark Arts Whiskey House at Quality Liquor Store, San Diego’s spirits shop since 1949. Based in Lexington, Kentucky’s Distillery District, Dark Arts is a blending, finishing and re-barreling house led by master blender Macaulay Minton. Instead of following a single recipe, Dark Arts takes mature bourbon and rye and transforms it through unusual cask finishes, double oaking and cask-strength bottlings. In 2026 it joined the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Expect bold, layered whiskey unlike anything else on the shelf. Releases are often limited, so shop online or visit our San Diego store while they last.
