我们让“层叠蛋糕”马尔贝克葡萄在藤上充分成熟。我们通常比其他邻近葡萄园晚四到六周采摘；这对葡萄酒的品质至关重要。每一串葡萄都经过手工采摘，然后进行去梗和分拣——同样也是手工完成。这片土地诞生于安第斯山脉脚下，汲取着最纯净的泉水……我爱这片土地。
葡萄园笔记
层层叠叠马尔贝克葡萄酒的葡萄产自阿根廷门多萨河畔的一片葡萄园——这片岩石嶙峋的地形与罗讷河谷的教皇新堡产区极为相似。曾经宽达5英里的门多萨河如今大部分河岸都变成了葡萄园，遍布着阿根廷最原始的马尔贝克葡萄藤。河面上铺满了光滑的鹅卵石，令人不禁好奇葡萄藤是如何在如此崎岖的地形中茁壮成长的。较大的鹅卵石下方是淤泥和砾石构成的底土。我们的葡萄园海拔约3000英尺。
气候：气候干旱，降雨量极低。白天温暖，夜晚凉爽，安第斯山脉的微风吹向门多萨山谷谷底。
品鉴笔记
