两款威士忌均采用100%麦芽大麦浆酿造，并在伍德福德珍藏系列的铜制蒸馏器中经过三次蒸馏，酒精度均为90.4度（40.4 ABV）。两款威士忌的陈酿时间与常规伍德福德珍藏系列威士忌大致相同，均为6-8年。事实上，据伍德福德官方介绍，两款威士忌“在橡木桶中的陈酿时间仅相差一周”。二者的区别仅在于用于陈酿的橡木桶的材质不同。
